Crayon, dog scratches and scuffed walls
Every busy house ends up with them: the crayon mural behind the sofa, the dog-scratched corner by the back door, the hallway where every backpack lands. Here's what a repaint fixes, what needs extra prep, and what it costs.
What a fresh coat fixes on its own
Every room price includes washing the walls, light scuff-sanding, filling up to about a dozen small nail holes and dents, and two coats of paint. Scuffs, everyday marks and small dings disappear in that process.
When it needs more
- Lots of dents or scratches beyond ordinary filling: a flat minor-prep line of $80 small, $105 medium, $130 large. It shows on your price before you send anything.
- Holes bigger than a loonie, or drywall chewed through: not part of our standard service. Show it in your photos.
- Stubborn stains on a ceiling: the ceiling stain treatment is $119 / $145 / $180.
Make the next round easier
- Premium paint ($85 per room) gives the room premium paint and opens any colour.
- Keep the touch-up container. We leave a labelled one where practical.

Once we've checked your photos, your price is locked. After you book, it never goes up unless you ask for more work or the crew finds hidden damage, and then you can say no and keep the original scope at the original price.

Can you paint over crayon?
Walls are washed and lightly scuff-sanded before painting, which is included. Show heavy marks in your photos, and a person reviews them before your price is confirmed.
My dog scratched the drywall. Is that included?
Filling up to about a dozen small dents per room is included. Deeper damage is a flat minor-prep line ($80 / $105 / $130), and holes bigger than a loonie aren't part of the standard service.
Which paint holds up to kids?
The $85 premium paint upgrade gives you premium paint on that room and any colour you want.
Should I paint now or wait until the kids are older?
That's your call. A labelled touch-up container is left where practical, so small marks later are easy to fix.
